Land use entitlement

Land use entitlement means an entitlement to occupy land within NSW conferred through an ownership of shares in a company or an ownership of units in a unit trust scheme, or a combination of a shareholding or ownership of units together with a lease or licence.

Duty charged, if you acquire a 'land use entitlement" by an allotment or issue of shares

Duty is charged at the general rate if you acquire a land use entitlement, whether by allotment issue or transfer.

Print and complete the relevant OSR form OSD049 for an acquisition of land use by entitlement by an allotment of shares or issue of units.
