Acquired businesses
If you bought a business or any dutiable property and you do not have a written instrument, the transferee / purchaser must make a written statement in a form approved by the Chief Commissioner. The written statement must be made within three months after the liability arises.
If the parties are related or ‘not acting at arms length’ we will require end of value from an independent accountant.
Complete form OSD046 where there is no written instrument or document.
