Register for payroll tax
If you or the company you represent has wages that exceed the payroll tax threshold, you will need to register for payroll tax.
You need to lodge your payroll tax annual reconciliation and if required, make payment by 21 July 2016.
The 2015-16 monthly calculator is no longer available.
You are now required to lodge and make payment for the 2015-16 annual reconciliation.
Note: The June 2016 payment is part of the 2015-16 annual reconciliation and is due by 21 July 2016.
If you have not paid your monthly payroll tax for May 2016, it's overdue and should be paid immediately. If you need help to manually calculate your May payroll tax liability, refer to our monthly example calculations.
