Calculating the tax

The gaming machine tax payable is calculated based on information collected by Data Monitoring Services (DMS), a division of Maxgaming NSW Pty Ltd, under licence to the NSW Government.

Based on this data, DMS will issue you with an initial invoice 14 days following the end of an assessment period. For copies of these initial invoices, or for queries on the calculation of the tax, please contact the Data Monitoring Services help desk.

Any subsequent invoices (eg final assessments, reassessments) will be issued by OSR.
