How do I make a repayment?

It is an offence to consume 'bulk purchases' of diesel fuel (ie purchases greater than 100 litres of subsidised diesel which are not delivered into the running tank of a road vehicle) for off-road purposes. The maximum penalty for an offence is $11,000.

Persons who have committed an offence are absolved of that offence if, within 60 days of the purchase, they pay to the Chief Commissioner the value of the subsidy applicable to that sale.

To make a repayment, please complete the Petroleum Products Subsidy Repayment Form and return this form with a cheque for the value of the subsidy applicable.
