Who is entitled to claim?
A subsidy may be claimed by a registered person (wholesaler or distributor) of eligible petroleum products sold to retailers or consumers where
The retailer sells the petroleum products at their premises within a zone.
The petroleum products are sold and delivered to the premises of a consumer for use by that consumer in connection with a business or activity within the zone where the products were delivered.
When to claim a subsidy payment
Registered persons should lodge their claims at the end of the month in which the relevant eligible petroleum product was sold. However, a claim may be made within 5 years after the end of the month in which the relevant eligible petroleum product was sold.
How to claim a subsidy payment
A registered person can make a claim online by selecting ‘Online services’ from the left menu box.
You can also complete and lodge the Subsidy payment form with OSR. Select the ‘Subsidy payment form’ link below and print the form or contact us to have one sent.
