- What types of homes qualify for the First Home Owner Grant?
The home must be a fixed building, located in New South Wales, which may lawfully be used as a place of residence and is suitable for use as a place of residence. This may include new or existing dwellings, such as a house, flat, unit, townhouse or manufactured homes. Houseboats, caravans and campervans are not eligible.
- Can I build a home on land owned by another person?
A person who builds their home on land that is part of land owned by another person can still be eligible for the grant.
